In association with Performing Arts Collaboration South, we are delighted to be hosting a performance by the Mayflower Ensemble at Southampton’s Concert Hall, the Turner Sims.
The concert will feature live-screened performances including a comparison of the same piece with two different visual interpretations, allowing the audience to appreciate how screening shapes our engagement and audiovisual enjoyment. The programme will include Alfredo Casella’s Serenata, Benjamin Oliver’s Captured (arr. for sextet), and Bohuslav Martinů’s ballet music for six instruments La Revue de Cuisine with a newly commissioned narration.
